That's all from us folks! The World Cup action continues and there's plenty more. Until next time then ...

India win by 36 runs

A resounding win for Kohli and his men. Dhawa, Kohli, Rohit set up the platform. Pandya, Dhoni and Rahul gave the big finish as India posted the highest score against Australia in a World Cup game. Dhawan got his 17th ODI ton while Kohli scored his 50th ODI fifty. They made an aggressive move by sending Pandya at No. 4. He smashed 48 off 27 to give the team the momentum.

Australia made a slow start with Warner out of touch. Finch got going but was run out. Smith scored a half-century but the asking rate kept going up. Warner ate up 84 deliveries and Maxwell arrived a little too late. Australia needed 115 in last ten and left it a little too late. Indian spinner controlled the middle-overs brilliantly and allowed the pressure to rise. Australia went nine overs without a boundary between 23 and 32 and that hurt the chase. Carey scored a 25-ball 50 but lost partners on a good batting track.

A second authoritative win for India. They humbled South Africa and now have walked over Australia. Next will be New Zealand. Will they make it three in three? New Zealand already have and are looking in good touch.

Hello and welcome to the live blog of the match between India and Australia at The Oval. India haven't won a league match against them since 1987 and have usually got cold feet.

Finch and Co. defeated them in India and will be confident of repeating their feat. India, however, are a strong force and they showed it against South Africa. Bumrah is a big threat and it'll be interesting to see how the Australian batting line-up copes with the pressure.

They were poor against West Indies before Smith and Coulter-Nile bailed them out. Stay tuned as we bring you more updates.
